I am an
English Speaking Psychotherapist in Rome

I am a multicultural psychotherapist fluent in English.
I am a registered psychologist and psychotherapist with a multicultural background and life experience, being half Swiss and half Italian and having lived and worked in Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain and Africa.
I work one-on-one with patients to treat anxiety, mood, adjustment, stress and somatic disorders, as well as identity and self-esteem, personal and professional problems; I also promote personal growth and self-knowledge (Jung’s Path of Individuation).
My therapeutic approach is primarily psychoanalitical but, according to the needs of the person, I also draw on other psychological approaches and intervention techniques such as mindfulness. I might also ask the patient to tackle certain tasks designed to help develop, cultivate and reinforce more effective coping skills, even assigning homework.
And too, I encourage the reading of selected materials on topics treated in therapy.
For over thirty years I have been accepting referrals from the United Nations Agencies headquartered in Rome.
